Scouts

Scout groups are welcome to hike the trails and use the facilities at Merrill Creek Reservoir, including the classroom and auditorium at the Visitor Center for scout led educational programs (merit badge or other badge requirements, etc.) during MCR operating hours.

Reservations are required for classroom and/or the auditorium use and is subject to availability.  There is no fee to use the facilities for scout programs.

There is no camping or overnights at MCR.

Merrill Creek Reservoir welcomes proposals for scout projects – however due to certain restrictions associated with the reservoir, not all proposals may be approved.   All scout project proposals must be submitted in writing.

Depending on availability, a MCR naturalist may be available to assist with a program to meet the scouts needs.  Contact MCR to find out availability or to submit a proposal for a scout project.
