SHARE A STAND PROGRAM:
Any member with a permanent tree stand that would want to participate in this program that would allow for someone else in the club to use there stand when they are not hunting in it would allow the stand owners contact info (email and/or phone number) to be put on a list that would be posted here.
Other members or associates could view this list on the Share a Stand list program, and they could then reach out to that person to ask permission to use it for whatever day or period of time. If permission is granted – the member would contact via email or phone the Club’s Tree Stand committee chair and MCR (John Parke) to let them know that so-in-so will be using the stand and when. MCR will log (keep track of) that info (for safety purposes and data collection to track program usefulness).
VERY IMPORTANT: it is understood and recognized by MCCSA and MCR that this Share a Stand program is a USE AT YOUR OWN RISK program which means anyone using someone else’s stand agrees by way of receiving permission from the stand owner to release and forever discharge and hold harmless the stand owner, MCCSA and Merrill Creek Reservoir(1) from and with respect to any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of actions of whatever kinds or nature(collectively “Claims”), for any and all harm, damages, and losses (collectively “Damages”) including, but not limited to, Claims for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death, either in law or in equity, which arise or may here after arise or be alleged from their use of said tree stand on the MCR property.
(1) Merrill Creek Reservoir is collectively their respective Boards, representatives, officers, employees, agents and contractors, (“Merrill Creek Reservoir” or “MCR”).
Currently no one has signed up to share a stand. When someone signs up for this program, MCR will update this page accordingly.
